1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions are the principal agreement for use of the Fire Chess School website, online or offline chess classes, Chess in Schools (CIS), tournament registrations, Student, Parent and Coach portals, physical Chess Store purchases and online payments. By submitting a registration or order, the customer or, where applicable, the student's parent or lawful guardian agrees to these terms and the policies linked from them.
2. Classes and educational services
Class availability, format, batch, coach, schedule, fees, duration and eligibility are the details confirmed for the selected program. Fire Chess School may make reasonable operational changes, including rescheduling a session or assigning a suitable coach, and will communicate material changes through available contact details.
Students are expected to attend responsibly, behave respectfully, protect account access and follow reasonable learning, venue and online-safety instructions. A parent or guardian must provide accurate contact information and any consent required for a minor student. A portal consent record does not replace separate permission that may be needed for public stories, testimonials or promotional use.
3. Tournaments and CIS
Every tournament may have separate published rules covering eligibility, format, reporting time, conduct, withdrawal and cancellation. Those event-specific conditions form part of these terms and take priority for that tournament where they are more specific. CIS arrangements may also be governed by the confirmed program proposal or arrangement with the participating school.
4. Chess Store purchases
Product descriptions, availability and prices are shown or confirmed at the time of purchase. Product images are illustrative and minor differences in colour or packaging may occur. A submitted order may be declined or cancelled if an item is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, the delivery location is not serviceable, or the order information appears incorrect or abusive. Eligible product returns and delivery matters are governed by the Return Policy and Shipping Policy.
5. Prices and payments
Fees and prices payable are those displayed or specifically confirmed before payment. Customers must use an authorized payment method and provide accurate billing, registration and order information. A payment is not treated as complete until it is successfully confirmed. Payment processing may be provided by an independent payment service provider and may also be subject to that provider's terms.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation, refund and duplicate-payment requests are governed by the Refund Policy. Physical Chess Store returns are governed by the Return Policy, and physical delivery is governed by the Shipping Policy. Eligibility depends on the type of purchase, the stage at which a service or event has been delivered, product condition and any specific terms disclosed before purchase.
7. Accounts and acceptable use
