1. What this policy covers
This Return Policy applies only to eligible physical goods purchased from the Fire Chess School Chess Store. It does not apply to chess classes, CIS services or tournament registrations, which are governed by the Refund Policy and any specific program or event conditions.
2. Damaged, defective or incorrect products
If a product arrives damaged, materially defective or different from the item ordered, submit the request within 7 calendar days after recorded delivery. Include the order or payment reference, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and packaging where reasonably possible. Fire Chess School aims to review a complete request within 3 business days. After verification, Fire Chess School will arrange an appropriate replacement, repair or refund as available and required by applicable law.
3. Other eligible returns
A change-of-mind return is available only when the product page or order confirmation allows it. The request must be made within the return period stated for that product. If no product-specific period is displayed, the default request window is 7 calendar days after recorded delivery. The product must be unused, complete and in its original saleable condition with included accessories, manuals, labels and packaging.
4. Non-returnable situations
A return may be declined where the product has been used, altered, damaged after delivery, returned incomplete, or requested outside the disclosed eligible period. Customized or personalized goods, clearance items identified as final sale, consumable or hygiene-sensitive goods once opened, and digital or service purchases are returnable only where defective, incorrectly supplied, expressly permitted, or required by law.
5. Return authorization and delivery
Contact Fire Chess School before sending an item. Fire Chess School aims to review a complete request within 3 business days and will provide return instructions and the appropriate destination if authorized. Unless the authorization states otherwise, dispatch the authorized return within 7 calendar days after the instructions are sent. Unapproved, late or incorrectly addressed returns may be delayed or declined. Fire Chess School will bear reasonable return-delivery costs when a verified return is caused by an incorrect, damaged or defective product. Other eligible return delivery costs may be the customer's responsibility if disclosed and permitted by law.
6. Inspection, replacement and refund
Fire Chess School aims to inspect a received return within 3 business days, provided the product and request can be matched and the necessary information is complete. An approved replacement depends on stock availability. An approved refund is handled under the Refund Policy and is normally returned to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
